Our vision and values
As a company and as individuals, we strive to show that we are serious about taking the lead through changing our own behaviour. Success is largely based on our people, who represent an impressive pool of expertise. ECOHZ employees share both a keen understanding of the market, its customers and partners, as well as being guided by a common set of values - trust, boldness and openness.
Changing energy behaviour is our vision. This is a broad and ambitious vision that reflects a belief that change needs to come at many levels. On a global and national level, change in energy behaviour is needed to stimulate major changes in energy systems and infrastructure, enabling a rapid transition to a low-carbon energy and renewable intensive economy. Equally important is challenging and changing established truths at local levels. This work includes developing municipal electric mobility in Europe, installing solar-powered lightning in remote villages in the developing world, or educating school children in the importance of using less energy.
Our recent changes in energy behaviour:
- Financial support of village solar-lighting pilot project in Mitandi, Uganda.
- Educating employees in the "wider environmental picture" in cooperation with various NGOs.
- Financial and practical support of NGOs and selected eMobility organisations.
- Establishment of an environmental management system based on ISO 14001. This provides a framework to help reduce our environmental impact and includes an ambitious environmental policy.
