ECOHZ offers a broad range of products. All products are
based on Renewable energy with Guarantees of Origin(GoO). Renewable
energy with Guarantees of Origin based on the EU
directives, documents in its most simple form production
volume and production origin. ECOHZ offers additional product
categories to our partners and customers throughout Europe.
CleanPower
In addition to providing the core documentation of volume and
origin, CleanPower provides a more comprehensive product and
documentation. This includes:
- tailored Greenhouse Gas impact analysis
- choice of geographic origin from number of European
countries
- choice of renewable source - hydropower, wind and biomass
- choice of power plant type - examples: new/old, small/large,
run-of-river/dam
- value chain verification from DNV (Det Norske Veritas)
- Guarantees of Origin(GoO)/RECS system description
- official ECOHZ CleanPower certificate
CleanPower Plus
CleanPower Plus includes all parts provided in CleanPower, and
in addition provides a reinvestment guarantee. The reinvestment
guarantee is an audited verification statement from international
auditor of the financial flow back to a specific power
producer. CleanPower Plus is offered in cooperation with (Det
Norske Veritas).
CleanPower ECO
ECOHZ provides renewable energy - either CleanPower or
CleanPower Plus that also adhere to a number of international
eco-labels. The eco-labels strive to provide an even higher
environmental standard on the the renewable energy
production. Among the eco-labels that ECOHZ adhere to are:
- OK Power
- NatureMade Star
- Bra Miljöval
- TÜV (EE01)
The described eco-labels differ widely in scope and content.
They do have in common that they provide a stricter set of criteria
on the renewable production than purely "renewable".
CleanPower Invest
CleanPower Invest builds on CleanPower Plus, and provides an
even more direct investment model for the customer. CleanPower
Invest guarantees that a predefined amount will be directed
to specific new renewable projects.
Through its extensive network of European producer partners
ECOHZ works to identify and screen potential projects. The projects
are both in the area of hydro as well as wind.
By choosing CleanPower Invest customers will not only document
their own consumption of renewable energy, but as well
significantly contribute to the production of more new renewable
energy.
