Uliana Mohyletska bringing young energetic digital marketing skills to the ECOHZ team

What experience will you bring to the ECOHZ team?


I am a freshly graduated master’s degree student from BI Norwegian Business School. In addition to studying for one year, I have been working for a tech company in the maritime industry in Oslo. My main project was to develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the new solution on the market. So, I do have some experience in digital marketing and knowledge that I can apply here in ECOHZ to spread the company’s digital presence.

Research on the effect of CSR

Moreover, for the last 1,5 years I have been working on the academic project and examining whether and how Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) affects profit and stock return. The topic is of interest to me as in recent years it is believed that investment in CSR can generate a sustainable competitive advantage that in turn increases financial performance both in the long and short term.

By examining and analyzing empirical research, I found that CSR positively affects the profitability of the company through enhanced corporate reputation. This means that in the customer’s eyes CSR creates an image of the firm being reliable, transparent and caring about the society and environment. Therefore, CSR can generate excess returns for firms by inhibiting the mobility of competitors in an industry. In addition to enhanced corporate reputation, companies with CSR orientation get increased innovation capability that results in obtaining a long-term competitive advantage and gain long-term financial benefits such as stock returns.

Tell us more about yourself


I am Ukrainian, came to Oslo 2 years ago to do a degree in Strategic Marketing Management. During those years I fell in love with Norwegian nature, lifestyle and quality of life. I am passionate about dancing (Latin and Afro dances), and yoga that together has an enormously positive impact on my health and well-being. I cannot imagine my life without sports, so Norway is a perfect country for me as people here are active and therefore inspiring. I do snowboard in winter, tennis and SUP paddling in summer. I am looking forward to seeing what is waiting for me here in this beautiful country in the coming years.
