What experience will you bring to the Ecohz team?

I have finished my master’s studies at the University of Stavanger (UiS) a few months ago where I have touched many fields of management during ten years of studying.

I have studied Masters in Change Management and Public Administration in my home country, Iran. I have written my master thesis on the role of transformational leadership and how to foster an innovative culture in public sectors.

My major was Business Innovation in UiS. I was honored to receive a scholarship from Innovation Norge to research about Innovation Ecosystem and to participate in the Norway-Brazil exchange week in Rio de Janeiro in 2019.

In Norway, I have conducted research on ERP systems for a Norwegian ERP provider. Also, I had worked as an intern for a Norwegian startup based in Oslo.

All these experiences gave me good knowledge about different fields of management. This helped me to choose sales and marketing as my future career because I am a problem solver, like to work with numbers and analysis, and have human interaction. This is what I want for my professional life moving forward.

I joined Ecohz in July 2021 as a sales support specialist. In day-to-day tasks, I bring my theoretical knowledge about sales & marketing and business innovation to the team, and I am in a learning process to enhance my understanding of the renewable energy sector in Norway. I look forward to quickly mastering the complexity of the energy market. As an academic person, been to university for 10 years and studied management in different majors, now it is a constructive challenge for me to come out of my comfort zone and make use of my knowledge.

Tell us about yourself

I am an Iranian citizen living in beautiful Norway since 2018. It has been a great experience to learn about Norwegian culture and nature.

After living and studying in Stavanger for about three years, now Oslo is my new home in Norway, and I am happy to explore Oslo city and surroundings and hike more and worry less!

I am into travelling, photography, blogging and enjoy doing yoga and swimming.

As a person who really cares about our lovely planet Earth, I always try to leave a smaller carbon footprint and cut down on food, water, and energy waste. It is a great opportunity for me to be part of a company with sustainability as a core of business and transparency as a value.
