Privacy Policy

Ecohz works to ensure the integrity and confidentiality in the process of collecting and storing personal data. Ecohz respects the privacy of its employees and everyone it does business with. We will only use and collect personal information that is necessary for business operations, and it will be handled and used in accordance with Ecohz’ privacy policy.

What we collect and why

We only collect information that complies with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): If you choose to sign up to receive any information from Ecohz’, we will only store the information that is absolutely necessary for us to send you relevant information, typically your email address.

If you are representing a company we are doing business with, typically a customer or a supplier, we will process personal data such as your name, company relation, contact info and correspondence.

The legal basis for the processing is GDPR article 6 (1) (a) (your consent to receiving information from us) and article 6 (1) (f) (the processing is necessary for us to fulfil our obligations towards the company you represent, and to execute and administer the business relationship).

How we handle personal information

Ecohz will always ensure responsible and legal processing of personal data and will only use such information for explicitly stated and legitimate purposes, in accordance with relevant legislation, and related to our own operations.

Ecohz will ensure appropriate information security related to confidentiality, integrity and accessibility. Personal data will not be stored longer than necessary to complete the purpose of the processing.

To conduct our business we use Data Processors, such as IT platform- and software providers. Any Data Processor is subject to a data processing agreement with us ensuring the security for any personal data and that the personal data is not used for any other purposes than the purpose of us being able to conduct our ordinary business. We do not transfer your personal data to any other third-parties.

Your rights and how you exercise them

You may request access at any time if you wonder what information we have stored about you, or wish to have your personal information rectified or deleted from Ecohz’ systems or that we restrict our processing of your personal data. You can also withdraw your consent.

Any registered individual whose rights have been infringed may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Norway the relevant authority is Datatilsynet.

Cookies

Cookies collect information about visitors’ machines i.e. an IP address, geographic location, browser type, source of visit (organic search, direct traffic, etc.), session duration and pages visited.
