TÜV NORD CERT Standard A75-SO26-1 is a German ecolabel promoting energy from new power plants. The ecolabel is managed by TÜV Nord. Buying Guarantees of Origin with this ecolabel guarantees that the renewable energy adheres to the ecolabel’s requirements.
Focus Areas
Electricity products eligible for TÜV NORD CERT Standard A75-SO26-1 must meet the requirements of one of the following options:
Option 1
- The electricity is generated from 100% renewable energy
- The power plants cannot receive any production support
- Minimum 33% of the energy agreed in the renewable energy contract is derived from new or upgraded power plants less than 6 years
Option 2
- The electricity is generated from 100 % renewable energy
- The power plants cannot receive any production support
- The electricity provider invests € 2.5/MWh in the construction of new renewable energy production.
