CDP, the leading environmental impact disclosure platform, released its prestigious A List 2023, which recognises companies at the cutting edge of transparency and performance on climate change, deforestation, and water security globally. Ecohz congratulates its clients, who make up 7.5% of the 346 companies that achieved an A score in the Climate Change category.

Getting on the CDP A List: how Ecohz helps companies slash emissions

Asahi Beverages, Signify and thyssenkrupp are among Ecohz’s clients included in the A List for understanding, disclosing, and mitigating climate impacts. Ecohz helps them address carbon emissions by tailoring renewable energy procurement and decarbonisation strategies.

Asahi was the first Japanese beverage company to join RE100, committing to use 100% renewable electricity. The group collaborated with Ecohz to establish the first-ever Power Purchase Agreement in Poland for a planned wind farm without state subsidies, covering 100% of Asahi’s Polish breweries' electricity needs.

Signify collaborates with Ecohz to source certified and high-quality Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) for its global operations, following RE100 and CDP technical guidelines. In partnership with Ecohz, Signify was the first international company to secure renewable electricity in the Gulf region with solar energy. Ecohz also expanded Signify's supply to the Australia/Oceania region for the first time.

thyssenkrupp Automotive Technology, one of the five business segments of the German business group thyssenkrupp AG, collaborates with Ecohz to transition to 100% renewable electricity across its global operations in 2024. By switching to renewables, thyssenkrupp Automotive aims to reduce 90% of its Scope 1 and 2 emissions worldwide, including in countries such as Germany, China, the US, and Mexico.
