The I-REC tracking system will stop operating in China
Following a new policy published by the Chinese National Energy Administration (NEA) on 5 September 2024, the I-TRACK Foundation, the operator of the I-REC system, has announced that local issuers will stop the registration of renewable energy generation devices and halt I-REC issuance, which will end with the 2024 vintage.
