ECOHZ is headquartered in Norway and managed by a team with leading expertise in product development surrounding Guarantees of Origin. Our office in Geneva enables us to benefit from an in-depth knowledge of the renewable energy market in Central Europe.

Through close relationships with energy providers and through our own knowledge of the energy markets, ECOHZ is able to offer renewable energy guarantees, whether that energy originates from water, wind, solar or biomass.

We use our expertise to add value to the Guarantee of Origin by offering different choices of origin. In partnership with power producers, we provide various customer services which fit Guarantees of Origin into the larger context of renewable energy consumption and sustainability strategies.

As one of the pioneers in the market, ECOHZ now has sourcing agreements with more than 25 power producers, and a portfolio of around 200 power plants. ECOHZ currently has a 20% market share and offers Guarantees of Origin from various European countries. In 2011, we delivered certificates for more than 40 TWh of energy, making ECOHZ the largest independent provider of Guarantees of Origin for renewable energy in Europe.
