Fossil Free Origin
Fossil Free Origin provides renewable energy from power producers with no direct ownership interests in entities producing "fossil power" from oil, gas or coal. Further, it is also guaranteed that no entities producing fossil power have ownership interests in the selected power producers.
ECOHZ provides this Guarantees of Origin option only from selected power plants, owned and managed by power producers with long-term agreements with ECOHZ.
Fossil Free Origin is only offered as a product option to customers buying renewable energy with Guarantees of Origin.
Fossil Free Origin is recommended for those who wish to reduce or eliminate fossil energy production.
