EE01
EE01 is a German ecolabel managed by TÜV Süd.
The label promotes the use of, and investment in, new renewable power plants.
The following criteria apply to EE01:
- Electricity is generated from 100% renewable energy sources
- Minimum 25% of the electricity comes from production capacity put into operation no more than 36 months ago
- Maximum 75% of the energy will be produced by older power plants
ECOHZ provides this product documented by Guarantees of Origin only from selected power plants, owned and managed by power producers that have long term agreements with ECOHZ. The power plants will be clearly identified with name, facts and pictures.
This product is an option for electricity suppliers with a license to sell EE01 and who have end consumers that want to support and promote new renewable energy production.
